Core Keeper

Core Keeper is the odd one out here, because the name belongs to a game rather than a cryptocurrency, and that mismatch is what you notice first. By our assessment, it is a survival-and-crafting game for players who like mining, building, fighting, and slowly expanding a base in a top-down underground world. Its best quality is that loop of gathering and upgrading, which can be very absorbing when that sort of rhythm clicks. The downside is also the genre’s familiar one: if the loop does not grab you, the repetition shows fast. In practice it asks for patience, inventory management, and a tolerance for repeated trips through the same spaces. Compared with bigger sandbox survival games, Core Keeper is more compact and more focused on the underground crawl than on sheer sprawl.
