Cryptic makes the whole thing feel intentionally obscure, which is a pretty direct fit for a cryptocurrency name. By our assessment, it is the sort of token that sells atmosphere first and clarity second, so the immediate appeal is the name itself and the hint of mystery around it. The honest downside is that mystery is not the same as usefulness; if a coin does not explain its role, the user is left with branding and little else.
