Centrifuge

Centrifuge is one of those crypto projects that tries to connect real-world assets with blockchain rails, so the interesting part is the finance plumbing rather than a simple payment coin. By our assessment, that makes it more ambitious than a memecoin or a pure trading token, but also harder to grasp at a glance. Its strength is the attempt to bring invoices, loans, and other asset-backed finance into crypto form; the weakness is that this kind of system depends on real-world counterparties and legal structure, not just code. In practice it is the sort of thing people in DeFi talk about when they want asset tokenization and structured credit, while ordinary users may never need to touch it. Centrifuge sits closer to infrastructure than to consumer crypto, and that gives it a clearer purpose than many tokens, even if the ceiling is limited by complexity and adoption.
