CCIP Bridged USDC (Ronin) is a bridged version of USDC meant to move dollar-linked value into the Ronin network without changing the familiar token name people already know. By our assessment, that makes it useful for transfers and DeFi inside that ecosystem, but it also means it depends on bridge design, chain trust, and the usual peg mechanics rather than standing on its own. In practice these tokens are handy when you want the same asset across networks, yet the bridge layer adds extra things to think about that native USDC on a main venue does not. It sits closer to a transport wrapper than to a fresh currency, so the limit is the extra complexity under the hood.
