Bridged Wrapped Bitcoin (BOB Network) is for users who want bitcoin-based liquidity inside BOB Network rather than on the Bitcoin chain itself. By our assessment, it does the familiar bridge job well enough: it makes BTC-style value available for swaps and DeFi activity in that environment. The catch is that the token sits one layer away from native bitcoin, so the bridge and the destination network both become part of the trust story. In practice it is the sort of asset that disappears into protocol use once it is there, which is exactly why it exists. Compared with native BTC it is more usable for contracts and less direct as a store of the original asset. It makes sense inside BOB Network, and outside that context it is mostly just another wrapped version of bitcoin.
