Bridged WBNB

Bridged WBNB is the cross-chain form of wrapped BNB that shows up when the Binance ecosystem token is needed somewhere else. By our assessment, it is most useful as a liquidity carrier: it keeps the familiar BNB shape for trading and DeFi use outside the home chain. The price of that convenience is the standard bridge dependence, plus the fact that a wrapped version is one layer further from the native asset than plain BNB. In daily use it tends to feel mechanical, which is not a criticism so much as a sign that it is doing infrastructure work. Against native WBNB or BNB it is less direct; against having no BNB exposure at all on the destination chain, it is the bridge that makes the move possible. The ceiling is the cross-chain route itself.
