Bridged WAVAX

Bridged WAVAX is the Avalanche-linked version people use when they need AVAX ecosystem value on another chain without moving back to the base network every time. By our assessment, it is strongest as a liquidity bridge: it keeps a familiar token shape for DeFi, swapping, and collateral use across environments. The downside is the usual wrapped-asset trade-off, because the token depends on the bridge arrangement and not just on the name printed on it. In practice it feels like a thin technical layer over a native asset, which is why it is helpful in active chain-hopping and less satisfying as something to hold in isolation. Compared with native WAVAX it is one step removed; compared with leaving funds stranded on the source chain, it is more usable elsewhere. The limit is that it only works as long as the bridge path stays the point.
