Bridged Tether (Wormhole) is another cross-chain version of USDT, built for people who need the same dollar-linked token to travel through Wormhole rather than sit on one chain. By our assessment, the advantage is convenience inside a multichain workflow: it helps move a familiar stablecoin between ecosystems without changing the basic asset idea. The downside is the same one that follows every bridged token, which is extra trust in the bridge and extra moving parts when something goes wrong. In practice it feels like infrastructure, not like a new coin, and most of the attention goes to what network it is on. It belongs to users already juggling chains, not to anyone looking for a simple standalone dollar proxy.
