Binance-Peg NEAR Protocol is the wrapped NEAR token for Binance-connected chains, made for people who need the asset to move outside its home network. By our assessment, its advantage is compatibility rather than novelty: it lets NEAR circulate where Binance infrastructure is the working layer. The downside is the familiar bridge risk, because a wrapped token always asks you to trust the wrapper as well as the name on it. In use, it feels like a practical transport format, the sort of thing that helps assets travel but does not add much of its own character. It sits with the rest of the Binance-Peg set and is most sensible when the goal is movement, not native chain features.
