Binance-Peg Filecoin is the wrapped Filecoin token for Binance-linked networks, meant for people who want FIL exposure without staying on the native Filecoin chain. By our assessment, its strength is straightforward portability: it lets a storage-network asset move into another environment where that name would otherwise not travel cleanly. The downside is the familiar one for pegged tokens, because the wrapper depends on Binance-side infrastructure and adds trust in the bridge layer.
