Binance-Peg EOS exists for one fairly narrow job: carrying EOS value into Binance-connected networks without asking users to stay on the native chain. By our assessment, its good point is the same as with other wrapped assets: it makes a chain-specific token usable in a different environment with minimal fuss. The obvious cost is that every such wrapper adds another layer between the user and the original asset, and that can matter more than the convenience itself. In practice it reads like infrastructure, not like a coin with a life of its own, and that is both its virtue and its limit. Compared with native EOS, this is a portability layer rather than the thing itself. It is most sensible for people already operating in Binance rails, and much less so for anyone who wants the original EOS experience.
