Basic Attention points straight at the attention economy, and that is exactly what the original BAT idea was built around: rewarding user attention in a browser-adjacent crypto system. By our assessment, the strength of that approach is that it gives the token a clear story tied to Brave and ad-supported browsing, rather than asking people to care about an abstract coin.
