Boardwalk is a cryptocurrency token, and that alone already tells the story: it exists for speculative trading rather than for any everyday use. By our assessment, the appeal is mostly in the familiar promise of speed and easy transfer, which is what draws people to this corner of the market. The downside is just as familiar too: its value depends on attention, liquidity, and sentiment, not on a service most people can point to. In practice that means a lot of watching charts and very little else, which suits traders better than ordinary users. Among cryptocurrencies it sits with the countless tokens whose main product is market movement. Boardwalk is not a payment rail or a savings tool in any ordinary sense.
