Barter

Barter points straight at the oldest idea in trade: exchange without a middleman, turned into a cryptocurrency label. By our assessment, that kind of name promises simplicity and peer-to-peer thinking, but it also inherits the usual crypto problem of turning a neat concept into something people actually use day to day. The good part is the clarity; you know exactly what mood it wants to signal. The downside is that the word itself does most of the work, so the token has to earn trust and relevance somewhere else. In practice, Barter feels like one of those names that can be understood in a second and still leave you asking what makes it different from the rest. It sits in the broad middle of the crypto field, where branding is easy and actual distinction is harder. It is strongest as a concept, not as a finished answer.
