Axelar Bridged USDT is a bridged version of Tether, so it exists for users who need USDT on the Axelar route rather than on the original chain. By our assessment, the point is convenience across networks: it lets a familiar dollar-linked token show up where the native version does not. The honest limit is that bridged assets always add another layer of dependence, because you now rely on both the token and the bridge that carries it. In practice that makes it useful but a little more brittle than plain USDT, and it belongs to the wider family of wrapped or bridged assets rather than to the core currency itself.
