Axelar Bridged USDC

Axelar Bridged USDC is a cross-chain version of USDC for people moving dollars between networks, and by our assessment, its appeal is mainly in the plumbing rather than the brand. It does the narrow job of letting USDC travel through Axelar, which is handy when a wallet or app needs the same stable asset on more than one chain. The trade-off is the usual one for bridged tokens: you are trusting extra infrastructure, so the clean simplicity of native USDC is gone. In practice it behaves like a transport wrapper, not a different kind of money, and that makes it useful but not especially graceful. Compared with native stablecoins or the original chain’s USDC, it sits one step further from the source and one step deeper in bridge complexity.
