Asylum Seekers

Asylum Seekers is the kind of cryptocurrency whose name does most of the work, which already tells you something about the project’s tone. By our assessment, that makes it more of a provocative token than a serious financial tool, and the main question is whether the name is being used responsibly or just for attention. The upside is instant recognizability; the downside is that this sort of branding can feel like it is reaching for a reaction before it has earned one. In practice there is usually little to hold onto besides the symbol, the community and the trading action around it. Compared with established coins, Asylum Seekers sits in a much rougher, more speculative corner. It is not a natural choice for anyone looking for a plain, durable crypto asset.
