Ankr Staked ETH is for people who want Ethereum exposure with staking mechanics folded into the token itself, and by our assessment, that makes it a practical but specialized asset. Its real appeal is obvious: it packages staked ETH into something tradable, so the holder is not locked into the plain validator-style flow. The trade-off is also obvious: once staking is tokenised, you inherit protocol risk, liquidity risk, and all the ordinary complexity of crypto wrappers. In practice, that means a token that is less about spending and more about yield structure, which is useful only if you already follow Ethereum staking closely. Compared with holding ETH directly, it adds a layer of abstraction; compared with simpler finance products, it asks for more understanding than many people want to give. It is a specialist tool, and the limit is that it makes sense mainly inside that specialist use case.
