iComics

iComics is for reading comics on a phone or tablet, and that job is narrower than a full ebook reader but more comfortable for page-by-page art. By our assessment, the value of an app like this is in making panels readable without constant pinching and zooming. The trade-off is that comic readers depend on file support, library management, and the quality of the device screen, so the experience can feel basic if the collection is messy. In practice these apps are all about swiping, panel order, and quick access to issues rather than heavy features. Compared with general reading apps, iComics is specialized enough to matter and plain enough that it does not try to be a media center.
