eufy is the app people use with Anker’s home devices, especially cameras, video doorbells, robot vacuums, and related smart-home gear. By our assessment, it is good at putting device setup, live views, alerts, and basic controls in one place, which is what these gadgets need most after the box is open. The limit is that it lives and dies with the hardware ecosystem, so it is not interesting on its own and can feel like another layer between the user and the device. In practice that means account setup, permissions, notifications, and a fair amount of babysitting for cameras and robots.
