drum tuner EZ

drum tuner EZ is a tuner for drums, aimed at players who need to check tension and make a kit sit more evenly. By our assessment, its value is in the practical side of tuning: it can save time when a head needs to sound less lopsided. The trade-off is that this is still phone-based help, so it cannot replace the ear, a proper key, or the feel of a well-set drum. In use, that usually means a little adjustment, a listen, then another adjustment. Compared with broader tuning or studio tools, it is narrowly focused, which is good if drums are the only problem on the bench and less useful if you want a general audio tool.
