dm Foto

dm Foto is the photo-printing app people reach for when they want supermarket-style order-and-pickup photo products instead of editing tools. By our assessment, it is best at the practical part of printing: turning phone pictures into prints and other simple photo items with a fairly direct workflow. The limit is obvious enough — it is about output, not creative control, so anyone wanting deep editing will run out of room quickly. In use it feels like a service counter in app form, with the focus on choosing pictures and getting them into a printable format. It sits beside other retail photo apps rather than serious editors. dm Foto is mainly for straightforward printing jobs and not for people who want to spend time shaping an image before it leaves the screen.
