die ärzte Songbook

die ärzte Songbook is a lyric-and-chord app for fans who want a portable songbook for the German rock band die ärzte. By our assessment, its main strength is obvious from the category: it puts songs, lyrics, and accompaniment material in one place instead of scattering them across paper sheets or random web pages. The downside is the usual one for a fan songbook app: it is narrow, tied to a single catalogue, and only really valuable if that music already matters to you. In practice it feels like a reference shelf rather than a playground, with the usefulness coming from lookup and setlist convenience more than from flash. It sits between a song archive and a practice aid, and it does not try to be a general music app at all. The app is for people who already know why they want it, and it stays limited to that job.
