botim

botim is another social communication app in a field where the basic package is already everywhere: chats, calls, and contact lists. By our assessment, that makes it respectable but hard to distinguish unless a person’s circle is already on it or a particular region favors it. The strength of this kind of app is straightforward messaging without much ceremony; the weakness is that it rarely offers a reason to switch from a more established messenger. In daily use, apps like botim are all about habits, invitations, and whether notifications become part of the background noise of a phone. Compared with the giants, it sits in the long middle of the pack, not as a flashy newcomer and not as a classic default. botim is serviceable social software, and that is usually the whole story.
