ZYMIX

ZYMIX lives in the social-networking lane, where the job is to keep people talking, posting, and reacting inside one app. By our assessment, the real value of that kind of service is simple connection: it reduces the friction between finding people and exchanging updates. The downside is the same one that comes with most social platforms, because the quality of the experience depends on who is actually there and how active they are. In use, this sort of app tends to be about profiles, feeds, messages, and notifications rather than any single deep feature. Compared with larger networks, ZYMIX is likely to matter more as a niche community than as a place with broad reach. It is for people who want a smaller social space, and not for anyone expecting the scale or density of the biggest platforms.
