Yoink - Improved Drag and Drop makes drag-and-drop on a Mac feel less fussy, because it adds a little extra control over how items get moved between apps and folders. By our assessment, it is a tidy productivity tool for people who spend time shuffling files, text, or images and want the mouse gesture to do less snapping and more carrying. The strength is that it sits on top of a basic system action and smooths out a small but frequent annoyance. The downside is that it is still a narrow utility: if you do not drag things around much, there is not much to gain from it. In practice, this kind of app lives or dies on how quickly it gets out of the way, and the best ones feel invisible after the first few uses. Yoink - Improved Drag and Drop is not a full file manager, just a helper for the moments when dragging needs a holding space.
