Xynthesizr

Xynthesizr is for making electronic sounds and patterns, so the appeal is immediate for people who like to tinker with synth controls rather than just press play. By our assessment, its best side is the hands-on feel of shaping sound directly, which makes it more playful than a plain audio utility. The trade-off is that this kind of app usually asks for patience and a bit of curiosity, because sound design rewards small adjustments and listening closely. Xynthesizr is the sort of tool that can be fun in short bursts and also a little slippery if someone wants instant results. It sits in the pocket-synth category, not in polished music production software.
