XAir Monitor Mixer

XAir Monitor Mixer is a companion app for Behringer X Air digital mixers, built for pulling monitor mixes around on a tablet or phone instead of at the rack. By our assessment, XAir Monitor Mixer is useful when someone already lives inside that mixer ecosystem and wants quick control over sends and levels from the side of a stage. Its strength is obvious and specific: it puts hands-on monitor work in a portable app rather than forcing constant trips to the console. The downside is just as specific, because it does little for anyone who is not using X Air hardware. In practice it is a control surface in app form, more technical than friendly, with the kind of muscle memory live sound people expect. Astrina files it under Music, and that fits a tool meant for one mixer family. It is for people who already have the hardware and not for anyone looking for a general audio app.
