X Air Controller

X Air Controller is built around hands-on control of Behringer’s X Air mixers, so it serves people who want faders and routing close at hand instead of buried in the mixer’s own interface. By our assessment, that directness is the main draw: mixing from an app feels faster when the app mirrors the desk’s basic controls well. The honest limit is that it only matters if you are already in the X Air world, because outside that ecosystem it has little use. In practice, this kind of app is about moving levels, checking channels, and keeping an eye on a live mix without leaning over hardware. It sits below a full DAW and above generic remote-control tools, which makes it useful but very specific. X Air Controller is one of those apps whose value is all in the match between the software and the mixer it talks to, and that match is the whole story.
