WristTube+ Player for YouTube is a tiny convenience app for a very specific trick: getting YouTube playback onto a watch. By our assessment, that makes it interesting more as a workaround than as a full media product. The Photo & Video label is broad enough for a player, but the real story is the narrow target and the awkwardness of media on a wrist-sized screen. Its strength is obvious enough — it trims the steps between a YouTube clip and a wearable device. The weakness is just as obvious: a watch is a cramped place for video, and the whole idea depends on whether the user actually wants that. In practice, it sounds like an app for quick peeks, not long viewing. Compared with phone or TV YouTube players, WristTube+ Player for YouTube is much more specialized and much less comfortable for anything extended.
