Wispr Flow: AI Voice Keyboard asks for attention at the microphone instead of at the keys. By our assessment, that is its main appeal: it turns spoken dictation into text fast enough to matter for messaging, rough notes, and other moments when typing is the bottleneck. The trade-off is obvious as soon as speech gets messy, because voice input depends on accent, background noise, and the willingness to speak out loud. In practice this kind of app feels useful in bursts, not as a full replacement for a normal keyboard, and it works best when the surrounding space is quiet enough to hear clearly. Compared with standard keyboards, it removes friction from long thoughts; compared with a full productivity suite, it is much narrower and more dependent on one feature. People who write a lot on the move or have hands busy will get the most from it, while anyone needing silent, exact, constant input may find it awkward. The rating is good because it targets one real pain point and makes the phone feel less like a tiny keyboard cage.
