Webmail App: IMAP Email Client is for people who still need to work with IMAP mail accounts and want that inside a dedicated productivity app. By our assessment, its real value is being a direct mail client rather than another wrapper around a phone inbox, so it can suit users who manage more than one account or rely on a mail setup that web services do not fully match. The downside is plain: an IMAP client only helps if your mail service and habits fit that model, and it is not a full office suite pretending to be one. In practice, apps like this are about reading, sorting, and sending mail with fewer distractions than a general-purpose browser tab. It sits in a crowded field with many mail clients, and its usefulness comes from doing the basic email job cleanly. Webmail App: IMAP Email Client stays a mail tool, not a messenger or calendar replacement.
