WChat:Chat For Watch

WChat:Chat For Watch asks a wristwatch to do the job of a small messenger, and that is a tighter constraint than most chat apps have to face. By our assessment, its main value is obvious: it brings basic chat to a watch, where quick glances matter more than typing comfort. The drawback is also obvious, because watch screens are cramped and text entry is clumsy compared with a phone, so the whole experience depends on brief exchanges and patience. In practice, this sort of app is about checking messages, replying in short bursts, and accepting that the watch is not a comfortable place for long conversations. Against phone messaging or even tablet chat, WChat:Chat For Watch is about convenience under constraint, not richness. The screen size decides a lot before the user does.
