Viewfinder Preview

Viewfinder Preview is for a very specific camera problem: checking what the framing will look like before the shot, so the person can judge composition without guessing from memory. By our assessment, that preview step is the point, and it can be genuinely helpful when camera framing matters more than effect. The drawback is obvious: a preview cannot do the job of the actual camera or make the final image better on its own. In practice it is a small, focused utility rather than a full creative suite, and that makes it quick to grasp but limited in scope. It sits nearer to shooting aids than to editing apps, which is where it belongs. People who care about composition and setup will see the point quickly, and people who want a broad photo tool will probably not.
