Among recording apps, Video recorder with trigger stands out by putting a trigger in the name rather than presenting itself as just a camera. That suggests recording is meant to be started by some kind of control, but the title does not explain what the trigger is or how it works. By our assessment, the purpose is straightforward and could be handy when hands-free control matters; the practical details are what would make or break the idea. The trigger’s type is the key detail left open by the name.
