VOR Tracker - IFR Nav Trainer stands out because it drills instrument-navigation habits, not generic flight theory. By our assessment, that narrow focus is its strength: it is aimed at people learning VOR tracking and IFR navigation and want repeatable practice with headings, radials, and correction work. The trade-off is obvious too, because it does not try to be a full simulator or a broad aviation course. In use, that usually means lots of repetition and attention to detail, which is exactly what this part of flying demands. It sits in the useful middle ground between a textbook and a live cockpit lesson, and the trainer part of the name is doing real work. If someone wants aviation entertainment, this is the wrong sort of app; if someone wants route-tracking drills, it is much more on point.
