VESC Tool

VESC Tool is for configuring VESC-based motor controllers, so the people who reach for it are usually e-bike, scooter, skateboard, and robotics users who need to tune hardware rather than just monitor it. By our assessment, its real strength is deep parameter access: current limits, throttle behavior, firmware-related setup, and other low-level controls sit where advanced users can reach them. The downside is that this is not a friendly gadget app; it expects some technical understanding and careful handling, because the wrong setting can make the system behave badly. In practice it feels like a workshop panel, with a lot of numbers and switches instead of hand-holding. Against generic utilities it is much more specialized, and against simple companion apps it is far less forgiving. VESC Tool is the kind of thing you open when the controller matters more than the phone UI.
