URL to QR for Safari is for the small, practical moment when a web address needs to become a QR code fast. By our assessment, its good point is obvious: Safari users can turn the page they are on into something easier to hand to another device or another person. The downside is just as plain, because this is a single-purpose tool and it will never be more than that. In practice it should feel immediate and slightly mechanical, with the only real question being whether the current page is the right one to share. Compared with general QR apps, it is narrower but more direct, and that narrowness is the whole point. It belongs to the sort of utility that disappears once the code is made and leaves the browser doing the work.
