UFC

Following UFC means keeping up with fight cards, results and a steady stream of video as well as the bouts themselves; the app brings that material together around the promotion. It is a companion for fans who want news and event information in one place, with UFC Fight Pass serving as the separate subscription service for a deeper library and live content. By our assessment, the official app’s strength is keeping the sport’s schedule and coverage close at hand, rather than offering a broad window on all of mixed martial arts. Its focus on one promotion is also its main boundary: fans following other organizations will need other sources. Video and event coverage make it more than a calendar, but they do not make every viewing option part of the same access. The UFC’s news, fight cards and results stay tied to the organization’s own coverage.
