Typefinity: Clavier & Chiffres is a utility keyboard built for faster typing of accented letters and digits, so it makes sense for people who switch between languages or enter lots of numbers. By our assessment, the appeal is in reducing taps and hunting around the standard keyboard for symbols that are otherwise buried. The trade-off is that a custom keyboard asks for trust and a bit of setup, and it is only helpful if the user actually needs those extra characters often. In use, these keyboards feel like a layer over the normal typing flow: useful when they match the task, slightly fussy when they do not. It belongs in the same category as other alternate keyboards rather than as a full writing app, and the French title hinting at keyboard and numbers matches that function. Someone who types in mixed scripts or long numeric strings will notice the difference; someone who just wants a plain keyboard may not.
