Twinnr

Twinnr sits in the social networking crowd, where the main promise is usually connection, matching, or keeping tabs on people rather than doing hard work. By our assessment, its appeal would come from that immediate social use, but the category is crowded and users expect a clear reason to choose one app over another. The honest drawback is simple: social apps can feel empty if the network around them is thin. In practice, these products are judged by how fast they become active and how much friction they put between a person and a conversation. Twinnr sounds like it aims for a quicker, lighter social layer than a full-blown platform. It is the kind of app that matters only when the people around it are already there.
