ToonCamera

ToonCamera is built around one familiar trick: turning live camera views or saved photos into cartoon-style images with bold outlines and simplified color. By our assessment, that is also the app’s main strength, because the effect is immediate and easy to understand. The trade-off is that it lives and dies by the style it offers; once that look stops being fun, there is not much else to lean on. In practice it is the sort of app people open for a quick visual joke, a profile image, or a stylized snapshot, then close again. Against full photo editors it is narrow, but against novelty camera apps it is straightforward and does exactly the visual gag it promises.
