Time Guru Metronome

Time Guru Metronome does one job that musicians actually need done cleanly: it keeps time and lets the beat be shaped beyond the plain click. By our assessment, that is exactly where it earns its place, because a metronome app is most useful when it can move past a dead straight tick and still stay dependable. The trade-off is obvious: this is not a music studio, and anyone looking for recording, arranging, or sound design will find only a narrow tool. In practice, that narrowness is a virtue; a good metronome should stay out of the way, and this kind of app lives or dies on clarity, subdivisions, accents, and tempo control. It sits above the most basic click apps because it offers more musical control, while still staying far smaller than a full practice suite.
