The O2 Venue App

The O2 Venue App is a venue app for people going to shows at the O2, where the useful part is having event and site information in one place. By our assessment, that is the main appeal: a single app can centralise what matters around a night out, instead of leaving you to hunt through email and signboards. The limit is that a venue app lives and dies by the visit itself, so outside the building it has little reason to be open. In practice it sounds like something you consult for logistics, then forget until the next ticketed event. Compared with a generic ticketing app, The O2 Venue App is narrower and more tied to one place, which keeps it focused but also short on everyday use. Astrina files it under Entertainment, which fits a tool built around live events and venue guidance.
