StatPro: SPSS speaks to students and researchers who need statistical analysis without jumping straight into a full professional stack. By our assessment, the main value is its association with SPSS-style work: data handling, standard tests, and the sort of structured output that makes statistics feel less improvised. The downside is the usual one for this category, because statistical software asks for some patience and a bit of method, and it will not make the numbers understandable on its own. In practice it is closer to a serious learning and analysis tool than to a casual app, so it rewards people who already work with datasets.
