Star Walk 2 Plus: Astronomie is for people who want the sky labeled on the screen instead of guessing at bright dots overhead. By our assessment, its strength is the live map of stars, constellations, and planets, which turns a look at the night sky into something readable very fast. The trade-off is that the real sky still has to be there, so clouds and city glare can make the experience much flatter. In practice it feels like pointing your phone up and getting names, lines, and positions overlaid with very little ceremony. Compared with plain stargazing apps, it sits in the polished, visually guided end of the category.
