Spot&Fly

Spot&Fly does one practical thing well: it combines navigation with trip planning for people moving through airports, airline connections, and the awkward parts between them. By our assessment, the strength is the airport-oriented focus, where maps, routes, and travel details matter more than a general map app’s broadness. The downside is that this kind of app has a clear boundary; outside air travel it has less reason to matter, and it is not trying to be a full travel planner for everything. In practice it is a logistics tool with a travel skin on it, which is exactly what makes it less cluttered than a generic navigation app. Compared with ordinary maps, Spot&Fly is narrower but more specialized for flights and airport movement. The result is useful when the trip is the point and the terminal is the puzzle.
