Sound Board - Funny Sounds! is a prank-style soundboard app for people who want quick effects instead of a full audio editor. By our assessment, its main appeal is the immediate payoff: a tap, a sound, no learning curve. That same simplicity is also the limit, because a soundboard lives and dies by how many clips it has and how well those clips land. In practice these apps are all about button grids, repeat taps, and using the right noise at the right moment, which can be fun for a while and then rather one-note. It sits beside other joke soundboard apps more than beside serious music tools, and it is not pretending to be either a recording app or a mixer.
