SonoSequencr

SonoSequencr is the sort of app people reach for when they want to program music hardware, not just listen to it, and the audience is usually owners of supported Sonos-style audio setups who care about control. By our assessment, its appeal is straightforward: it can make multi-room playback and saved sequences easier to manage than doing everything by hand. The trade-off is that this kind of utility lives or dies on compatibility and on how much patience a person has for setup. In practice, it is a control panel more than a music app, with the feel of a specialized remote rather than a general player. Against bigger consumer audio apps, SonoSequencr is narrower and more technical, which is exactly why it has a place at all. It is not for casual background listening, and the work begins before the music does.
