Soda Reels

Soda Reels is built around short, snackable video viewing, and that is the only thing that gives it any shape as an app. By our assessment, the draw is quick browsing through clips without asking for much patience or commitment. The limit is also obvious: reel-style apps are good at keeping a thumb moving, not at giving a viewer much depth, context, or memory of what was just watched. In practice they tend to feel fast, repetitive, and easy to drift through, which suits casual scrolling better than focused watching. It sits beside the big short-video products rather than above them, so its value depends on whether the feed feels lively enough to stay with. Soda Reels is for people who want a light stream of brief videos and are fine with that being the whole point.
